I believe the numbers are Napa 3877 for the Inner and 3878 for the outer. If I remember correctly .

I had my Carb rebuilt by Treadwell a few years ago . They not only rebuilt it but they made adjustments and ran it on a test engine before sending it back to me. I had no problems with them and would use there services again.

I've been using A Wix 51100 filter right along and this is the first time I have seen seepage around the top of the Filter housing . Oil Filter Housing Gasket

Does anyone have a part number for a thicker Oil Filter Housing Gasket. I'm having trouble with the thin one that comes with the Wix 51100 filter . I tighten down the cover and I'm still getting some seepage.

I used 2/0 welding cable on mine. Welding cable has many more smaller strands and is more flexible and carries more current. But the insulation is thinner then on your normal Battery cables.

I used Gillespie AJP Color from Army Jeep Parts and Reduced it with Xylene.

I believe I read over on Steel Soldier a while back that oak was used. I used Red Oak on mine only because I like the look of it .
