Re: replacement radiator for M37

Just got a prompt. I'll say I still recommend the all aluminum radiators. We build these in house at M Series Rebuild now. They aren't cheap to build, but you are looking a a once and done installation. You can look at our Facebook Page, M Series Rebuild LLC and scroll through the many pictures ther...

Re: Draft Pads

With felt, you will create a water trap that will hold moisture and will cause rust damage. If you have good NOS draft pads; boil them in water for 10 minutes, move quickly to the truck as water will cool quickly. Remove from boiling water and immediately install it without wasting any precious time...

Re: How To:Civilian Plugs and Wires on 24v Military Distributor

Sounds like going around the world to cross the road here. The easiest way to do this is to change out the distributor to the civilian style, then use a standard plug cable and plug, You can change to a civilian oil pump that matches the civilian distributor shaft OR you can retain the military oil ...

The 573 or XMJ20 are the ones that have worked best for us.

Looking for THE RIGHT qualified employees

Hello to all. Here at M Series Rebuild LLC we have been short staffed for soon to be a year. If anyone knows of folks who may have interest in full time employment; please make them aware of this posting. I won't bother with posting all the details here; but would love to speak with anyone who posse...

Re: How To:Civilian Plugs and Wires on 24v Military Distributor

Sorry for the delayed response here, just saw this question this morning the first time. First, the guy who worked here that was a NAPA jobber is not with us any longer, and I'm not as fluent with that info off the top of my head as he was. We have been short staffed by 2 techs for some time now wit...

Re: MECO spark plugs, DON'T BUY THEM

Yes sir, we don't operate in accordance with Bubba guidelines around here; we do have trucks come in fairly often he has touched though.

Re: MECO spark plugs, DON'T BUY THEM

Well it isn't quite that simple. We do so many upgrade things to most of the trucks. We need people that can service the common stuff, but we also need a person who can visualize what needs to happen with upgrades such as designing and building engine brackets, brackets for the other systems we put ...

Re: MECO spark plugs, DON'T BUY THEM

Hi, I think of you folks often. Busy times at the shop and we've been short handed by 2 employees for several months. It's been tough; expect to have one position filled in a couple of weeks, still have another to work on. Specialty employees are hard to come by.

Re: MECO spark plugs, DON'T BUY THEM

Yes I'm quite certain no one intended to end up with bad parts, but the fact does remain that these have been sold for a while now. Bad experiences with them are becoming more numerous quickly. As far as I know, none of the vendors are pulling them from their lines and continue to sell them. As I sa...

MECO spark plugs, DON'T BUY THEM

Hey everyone, been a while. I just got a prompt to look at a post concerning engine timing and thought I'd share this. Recently we had an encounter with knock off spark plugs labeled MECO, which is Memphis Equipment Co. Since Auto-Lite spark plugs went obsolete, Memphis apparently has had these impo...

Re: Helitool front disc brakes

These brake parts that are pictured here in a prior post fit the flat fender power wagons (WDX, WM300, etc.) some later WC military models, and the military M37 trucks that have the Dodge axles. They are not compatible with the DANA axles that were used on some of the various later models.
