Trucks in Guam
Found these on dclarson's photos on flickr. His dad was in the pacific, mainly out of Guam from 57 to 61. The color shot shows bumper markings and what appears to be TP markings on the fender. There are more M-37's in the background of many of the flickr pics, but these are the best. http://i809.pho...

Air Force M-37 in Turkey, 1961
Came back from Lackland today and found the IT guys cleared all the good stuff off my computer again. Lost some good pics. While at Lackland I saw two pics in the Security Forces Museum of Air Force M-37's in Thailand in the '60's. One was at Korat RTAFB and it had an 81 mm mortar on the back! The o...

Lifer and I haggled this out sometime back but I can't find the thread now! Since your truck was built in '52, it was likely to have originally been OD green, as was my '53. It likely had hood and bumper numbers, the same as were on Army trucks at the the time. It was likely to have been repainted l...

CUCV Pintle and Bridge Plate
Anybody know if the pintle from a CUCV will work as a replacement for the missing one from an M37?
How about the bridge plate? Have they changed over the years or will the one off a CUCV work for a 'Nam era M37?
