Thank you Charles, I assume the PTO will fit the NP420.I would imagine a new top cover will be less expensive, are they available? Yes, the PTO will interchange. The last top cover I bought was around $100 I think. Then there's the expense of the modification. Personally I'd rather have a few $$$ i...

I've seen this situation many times also, the best fix for this is to replace the top cover assembly. What you have is easily recognized by excessive free play in the shift lever & can be visually seen by simply having a good external look at the outside of the tower. I hate to be the bearer of ...

There is a seam on the bottom of the radiator support bracket between the two bolts, if not shimmed properly this condition could exist.

I have got a cab that you my be interested in, it has been acid dipped and then dipped in paint, it looks like this method get the rust off were sand blast my not and the paint also get back in everywhere. I didn't think getting fresh air into the cab would be a problem either,but since the knockout in the side of my cab for the engine/battery heater was gone l thought l would use the parts since they were in the heater kit.I had to make a bracket but it coverd the hole nicely.
