Creeping Death, Thanks for your input. I know it wont be an easy one but that's what makes it FUN... It will fit but like we have all said it will take some serious modifications. As far as the weight of the 6bt goes if you read all the posts you'll see that that isn't going to be a problem since we...

Hey guys, Josh thanks for the input! Good info and probably a great idea! However were going to be using the 6bt. My son really wants to put the 6 in so that's what were going to do. We have plenty of time and a full fab shop so why not. It should be a great learning opportunity for both of us. (goo...

Hey Ray, Good to hear about your project! I would love to see some pics as your project progresses. If you need any parts that I have your welcome to them. I imagine your not going to be using much from the old truck. Now as far as the frames go all my trucks are 1 tons but my last 3/4 ton had a ver...

Need an arctic top for an M37 in New York
Hey Guys,
Anybody have a rectangular window hard top for an M37? I have an oval window but need a rectangular window. I could also use a good bed. The box on my sons truck is in tough shape. It can be repaired but will take a lots of work!!!
Thanks,
Bulldog

Hey guys, Well, after alot of measuring and bouncing ideas off each other we have decided to use the m37 frame. I feel that we should be able to reinforce the frame to handle the torque that the 6er will make. I agree that the body of the 37 just wont look right on a later model frame. I'll keep ya ...

Thanks Tom, I know that the 4BT is a nice little engine and it makes pretty good power. But my son wants to use a 6BT so were going with a 6er. This is not going to be restore more like a resto mod/hot rod. The truck probably will have a sled hooked to it a time or two but it will for sure have a he...
