Re: Different kind of spark plug wire question
Compressor is definitely Bendix, possibly a 400. It's lubricated from the engine oil system. MiniMo is either going to free up by rocking it in low gear moving the tractor or it's going to need to come apart. Probably best to take it apart to minimize valve damage you can do trying to free the engin...

Re: A-Frame Hoist Kit
It's an easy build since only a bolt & pipe are used at the tip of the frame to allow for use at varying extensions of the frame rather than a head block. Best material to build the legs from will be 2½ & 2" rigid conduit as they telescope nicely. Base legs want to be about 8' and the t...

Re: M37 Seabees Picture
Windshields were always an interesting item. Had some no good rat bustard not redestinationed my foot locker to his house while I partook of the fine facilities in Subic and Bethesda, I could be holding a traffic ticket given to me by a fine young MP in a delightful jeep with a cute little siren. I ...

The unwashed, unloved mud sailors were officially supplied ITO with everything some drunk in a building in ...

I could tell you a nice story or I could just tell you I had mine out and back in 3 times finding all the holes on the top of the tank. Hell, it's NY and it's a M-37, I'll just tell you the way it is. Take a cutoff wheel to the inspection cover screws and remove the cover. Disconnect the tank >> dra...

You know I been changing tractor tires and 3 piece rims since 1960, and if every guy who got beheaded by a rim that I heard about in that time was assembled in the same place there would be a damn cavalry troop of headless horsemen. 92.4689% of splitrim storys are bullcrap and I didn't make that sta...

I could take this one pages, but fortunately, arthritic fingers will save the readers. Once upon a time, in another Century there were many trailers with 6 volt lights that were towed by trucks with 12 volt systems. There were even trailers with 6 volt electric brakes that were towed by 12 volt trucks. SOUTION 3 single filament lamps at the lower voltage installed in a small box somep...

You're a better person than I am. I was given a ticket at CamRahn in 69 for driving a jeep with the windshield up and not having a drivers license by a sniveling little wetnosed puke in an MP jeep. He had a cute toy siren and a flashing light too. I was nice about it. I didn't tell him the jeep was ...

I see absolutely no problem with Congressman Masshole being any sort of infringement on a Messychewsh!ts patent, copywrite or anything else since NY was carved from the landmass originally Messychewsh!ts. You need to do a little more research. Upon doing so you will realize that in the original pape...
