I wouldn't sweat the paint scheme as any one you described could be considered correct. Just a tip here. You mentioned an air cleaner fording shroud, paint isn't critical, but this is. The shroud is not meant to be installed all the time, here is why. The air cleaner has a screened air inlet openin...

Very good information. One should keep in mind that the M42 trucks were phased out about the same time the 100 amp setup was being installed on M37s as per the TM update. They did use M37s with multiple radio setups requiring the higher amp setup but for some reason some people equate the 100 amp sy...

Right. The radio mount bolts to the seat. Then the radio and the power supply slide/drop into the mount. My Brother in Law`s truck has more holes on the bench making us think that it had a few radios in there. My M42 rig has new wood but it has a airial mount on the bed and the power supplu plug in ...

Here is a cluttered shot of the radio in my Brother-in Law`s M42. I think it is an RT68 with a PP109 Power supply. The power cable hooks into a socket in the bed front, just out of view. There is a support bracket there behind the lantern box... http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk119/poleman87/m37...

Wow. I think I would have an issue about someone casting a flood light on me while I was on a night patrol. The Shepards jumping into the M37 was only half as impressive as the soldier steping up into the bed in one motion. If I tried that, something would tear and it wouldn`t be my trousers... Here...

I let my subscription lapse a couple years ago. Then I started again, thinking it may have improved. I concur that there are too many ads and not enough articles that are interesting or useful. Steve Tourchet`s(sp) articles are great and the show schedule was helpful but the magazine is still lackin...

Great photos and lots of them. You really caught the feel and size of the show in you efforts. Nice work! The displays by the reenactors are great. Since it is a reenactor event, at least partially, it isnt unheard of to have Axis emblems diplayed. I really didnt find anything much as far as the ven...
