Re: M37 windshield frames
"might" have an NOS exhaust pipe, the one that goes after the muffler. Need to look and see if it went with the truck when I sold it.

Re: Taillight Brackets Question
You might have a M43 bracket on the left. There was no trailer connection on the ambulances and both of mine had short brackets with only taillight holes in them.

Re: New restoration thread
The bolts in the "hat channel" are where the fording exhaust clamp attaches. The groups of 5 holes are for antenna mounts and cable. The sets of 2 verticle holes are where the troop seat hinges attach. I found the same TP 40 stencils on my truck. Rick Larson can hook you up with the correc...

Re: Interchangeability of Douglas and Packard connectors?
I have used that trick to get some wire out of a harness but never really tried reusing the whole harness like that. If you had to shorten any of the ends by much they won't be long enough, especially the light connections. You also would need to check the entire harness for any unseen damage......s...

Re: New restoration thread
Eastwood Automotive makes a strip caulk product that you can use to replace the sealing material that is there. I used it anywhere on the M37 where 2 pieces of steel were bolted together
