Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Hello all. I have decided to stop the build in the current shop. "Stop" is misleading, because the shop is literally not doing anything on the truck. It's been months and nothing. This build is not priority, not important. Basically no one gives a s$#@. I feel like stupid for investing tim...

Re: Wheel alignment??

Hi. Can you tell us more about the wear you're seeing? I was also questioning myself a few weeks ago while checking the wheels after painting the rims. Giving they're cousins, I ended in some MOPAR forum digging into the caster + camber of the Power Wagon. But what I got was lazy data and didn't fee...

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Back in December 2024 I started checking for missing stuff and/or pieces that should be replaced. For example the windshield inner frames were unable to be restored due to corrosion (see post from Jan 27th, 2024). I checked with VPW and Midwest mainly because they have a metal shop. I left this pend...

Re: Lines and the 24v waterproof distributor

Alrite Murf, this is a very complete answer. Thank you. :D So, both 214 and 245 have a 230 cui displacement (3,775 cm3). And I am not converting to 12v. This tells me they are interchangeable. I have read today in the g503 forum about both engines: They take the same overhaul parts. You will have to ...

Is correct as EDM43 is telling. Actually if you place the rotor in the position #1 you'll hear a click.

Re: Lines and the 24v waterproof distributor

we used the vacuum pump side of the fuel pump to ventilate the distributor. That’s a very good idea. Neither do I know how the aerator would’ve behaved. …if you have 2 coming from the distributor, the inlet venturi is open faced toward the air cleaner (so air pressure is pushed into the line) and t...

Lines and the 24v waterproof distributor

Hi everyone. There are a lot of topics open to catch up in the year I have been off. I am glad the forum is alive. Now that work is being resumed I also have "situations"....., it's normal. :) In this topic, our friend T. Highway described the basic differences between the T-214 (used in t...

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Hello all. Back after long time. After leaving the shop In June last year, I put everything on hiatus for the summer to save some money and maybe trying to give it a fresh start in October. And because the new guys were fully busy with other customers, this also helped my idea. I will recall in this...

Re: My 1952 Dodge M37 re-building process

Hi everyone. It is been long. Well, the thing is that 2024 is kicking hard in my economy, and had to put the M37 on complete hiatus in February. This, of course, started raising issues with the shop because they wanted to move forward and had no money to drop. Nada. So I pay the last bill (....after...
