I have a 62 M37B1 that I am restoring. It came with a slave rec. but the + lead was not hooked up.
I am about to reinstall the slave rec. How is the + wire routed to the battery box? Under the floor or under and into the box below the driver's seat and across to the battery box?

How to get spark plugs wires black again
I have a 62 M37B1 that I am restoring. The black plastic covering on the plug wires has come off. The wires work just fine and I really don't want to spend the money for new ones just so they are black. I tried painting them, but the mesh just appears to absorb the paint and the copper color comes r...

I am looking at a truck without any glass. Does anyone have a good source and or cost for window and windshield glass for a 1951 truck?

Re: Rear wheel bearings
M43 rear axle.jpg Although this is my first work on a M43, I have rebuilt rear axles on various Jeeps, a 44 Chevy 1.5 ton, M8 Greyhound and M2A1 halftrack. The TM says this is supposed to be a full float axle with wheel nut. Look at the pic and this one has no wheel nut. It appears to be a semi flo...

I am working on a M43 for the Cavanagh Flight Museum. My first exposure to a M37/M43. We are doing a complete brake job starting with the rears. I got it disassembled and wanted to lube the rear bearings as well. There is not the usual retaining nut so I was wondering how the rear wheel bearings can...
