Re: Source for bridge plates
Back in 05 when I bought my truck the plate kits were plentiful. I bought mine for $25.00. Now they have dried up and when they appear they are around $100,. This fellow has re-pops:

Re: Engine cranks...No start
Also check to see if you have fuel in the carb bowl when it cuts off. Your welcome. Yes, some that used to prowl here would have told you that you are a mere mortal, in no way capable of working on your own truck, and that you need a $7000.00 rebuild with dyno-balanced rods and secret procedure inta...

Re: Engine cranks...No start
Did you mean 15-20 seconds? You said minutes, which leads me to believe it is a ignition or fuel delivery issue if it ran for minutes B4 cutting off. Was it a strong runner previous? Do you still have spark? IMHO, Keep the starting fluid away from your old flathead. Great for popping tires onto the ...

You don't find these everyday..
A part I have been looking for for some time was gifted to me by a fellow M37 enthusiast. NOS LH engine splash panel. Even the wrapping paper was mint. Almost too nice to use... of course the Mrs. probably won't let me hang it on the wall in the house...

Denton NC 2024 Rally
A couple pics from the Denton Rally. Blake, myself, and Rich represented for the M37's. Great weather and MV fellowship as always. I could easily spend the rest of my life travelling the country and living out of my M101 at truck rallies...

Re: Fuel pump
In my 19 year adventure with My M37 I have only been stranded twice. Each time it was a mechanical fuel pump issue. With the OEM pump the lever pin backed out. Then I put a civvy PW pump on. That lever came apart. Two years ago I installed a Carter 24VDC marine grade pump with a spin on fuel filter ...

Re: Front Axle Pinion Bearing
Here's a tip. Keep in mind any proper Timken bearing dealer (BDI, Motion, Applied, ect) should be able to get any cup and cone at substantial savings over the internet dealers. Most major cities have a branch of one of these vendors. All taper roller and ball bearings on M37's or civvy PW are curren...
