If you are going to use canvas covers - wait until you have them before you head off the foam shop to make sure you get the correct thickness. You should use high density seat foam which holds up like a NY cab! The drivers seat bottom is 5" thick which we used a 4" and glued 1". Over ...

I ordered a engine plate from MV in October.... he got the plate in and messed up 1 number...still waiting. Nice guy but I would order from another place until his feet get on the ground. I ordered my M37 from VPW as well. Keith

Then & Now did 2 pumps for me... brand new and you almost hated to install them..too nice. The primer handle is typically missing but has no impact on performance. You can get the winter primer kit as well if you are concerned.

There is a specific footman loop that has a sewn loop for the footman and a strap and buckle. Come in handy to hold the front of the folding seats in the up position. I found my NOS but have never come across them in the repop. Let me know and maybe we can get someone to make them. http://i246.photo...

The electronic ignition and removal of the RF filter will result in a hotter spark (no electrical loss). We were able to pull the lead wire thru the connector and still screw on the cannon connector for the "look." From outside appearances, from the ignition wire connector, its looks like ...

MM - we bought the Pert from Charles, came with great instructions. The RF is located inside the connector housing on the side of the dist. When you pull the coil, you'll see the wire that makes that connection. The problem we had was that the RF also is the barrel connection to the incoming harness...

Cuz - the carb housing is soft as butter and is easily stripped if you blink when tightening the gas line. I would suspect that the stripped ones were drilled/tapped up to the next size and a corresponding plus size put in. We attempted to heli-coil ours when it stripped and had good success. Just m...

Gary - call me crazy but a 4" and a 6" wire wheel on a var-speed drill works thru the original paint/primer. So long as you go slow and aim it away from you, it won't put racing stripes on your garage wall. Keith
