There is a specific footman loop that has a sewn loop for the footman and a strap and buckle. Come in handy to hold the front of the folding seats in the up position. I found my NOS but have never come across them in the repop. Let me know and maybe we can get someone to make them. http://i246.photo...

MM - we bought the Pert from Charles, came with great instructions. The RF is located inside the connector housing on the side of the dist. When you pull the coil, you'll see the wire that makes that connection. The problem we had was that the RF also is the barrel connection to the incoming harness...

Cuz - the carb housing is soft as butter and is easily stripped if you blink when tightening the gas line. I would suspect that the stripped ones were drilled/tapped up to the next size and a corresponding plus size put in. We attempted to heli-coil ours when it stripped and had good success. Just m...

Decided to do a teardown, stripped the frame, wheels, box. 2 coats 2-part corrision resistant epoxy, 2 coats acrylic enamel. Roll on bedliner inside. Tires are NDTs at 95%.
