I follow the instructions on the back of the bottle of the StaBil. They know their product best.

Re: Fuel in the M37
Here is Arizona, I use the 87 octane, (it is oxygenated fuel) plus Marvel Mystery oil and StayBil. The Marvel Mystery oil really shows its stuff in the 1976 2F Toyota FJ40 Landcruiser. The Aisin carb has a fuel cut-off valve that operates properly with the Marvel Mystery oil. Without the MM oil. the...

Re: Win some, lose some....
Hey guys
Another option.
Just a thought, When I bought my STA 900-16 tires 3 years back, JEGS had free shipping. These are 8 ply tires. Checked Jegs again, and the tires are $338 with free shipping.

door locking and how to get in?
Anyone have tricks for locking both M37 doors and being able to get back into the cab? I have a static display coming up for the M37 and would like to lock both doors and be able to unlock one from the outside. Tricks?

Re: Boiling Fuel?
just me There is a thicker carb to manifold gasket available that gives a little more heat insulation that may help you. With the alcohol in the fuel, and desert heat, a phenolic fuel bowl would be nice. But these do not exist for this carburetor. My 340 engine works well with the old Thermoquad vs....

140° sweep electric wiper motors
Anyone running these on their M37? I have the 90°sweep electric motors, but was interested in getting a better cleaning of the windshield.

Re: Boiling Fuel?
Living in the heat of Arizona, I have had issues such as yours. What I have done: 1) Installed a Facet electric 24v pump near the tank, removed the mechanical pump and made a block off plate. This pump gave me 4-4.5psi pressure. Perfect for the Carter Ball and Ball carburetor. 2) Moved my fuel line ...

Re: Blue Crown water proof spark plugs
I purchased a set of 6 for the M37. Had fresh Autolite plugs in the engine, but wanted a spare set on the shelf. Never really looked at the brand until I saw a post on folks having issues with MECO plugs. Then thought "Oh crap" these might be MECOs. Looked closer then saw the branding. Wil...

Re: Blue Crown water proof spark plugs
I found this online. The Blue Crown Spark Plug company was based in Chicago during a time when the automotive aftermarket was in bloom. It was a subsidiary of Motor Master Products, which is believed to have distributed a range of more than 90 different spark plug brands during the 1930s and ’40s. T...
