I did my M37. BEWARE! It took me six headlight assemblies to get two that matched color wise. They range from almost green to white to ghastly yellow/green. In the tune up adaptor kit is the tool that goes into the inspection plug on number 6. It is there for a reason.

Mine is missing the pointer too, but never used it anyway. I set my timing with a vacuum gauge. Adjust idle timing for highest vacuum. Worked for me for years.
