Good to know, thank Gary. I assumed it to be like the WW2 jeeps. They would mark under the hood something like Preston 44.

WTS: Greek M-37 NOS front and rear wiring harness
I have for sale a Sid Beck import NOS Greek front and rear harness. I wasn't happy with the colors and decided to go a different route. I continuity checked all the wires pin to pin and no issues. I'm asking 285 shipped from 85648 AZ. I paid 300 when I bought it 2 years ago. IF you have any question...

PTO drive shaft pictures
Hey friends, Looking for some pics of the fwd and aft ends of the PTO drive shaft for the M-37. I reciently aquired a second winch and both have had the fwd end attached the the lu-4. Both came off an M-715 and both are different. I'm looking to see the correct set up for an M-37. I have located a s...

NP 200 transfer case rear output housing removal ??
Hey guys, I may have to pull the transfer rear case output housing to redo my rear output bearing pre-load. I have already removed the companion yoke and seal due to a leak. Upon disassembly the rear yoke was not torqued and had a lot of play. There was no damage to components and this possible pre-...

Re: WTB M37B1 spare tire carrier inside dash reinforcement p
Hi Uttas, I have a parts truck that has one of those brackets on the dash. It has a little rust on it but will clean up good. It might be awhile until I can work outside long enough to take it off though. It's supposed to get down to 9 degrees tonight and barely above freezing for the rest of the w...

Re: Rear differential hub removal
Thanks for the ideas I ended up using my air impact to get the screws out. This was after the hand impact didn't budge the screws. The brake drum came off without issue. The issue was indeed the hub, it was stuck on the spindle shaft. I had to use a pry bay to free it up on whatever the inner bearin...

Rear differential hub removal
Ran into an issue today removing a LR hub from my 37. This truck has sat for over 30 years when I got it running and had the brakes working last November. I had good pump-able fluid to all 4 wheels. It is possible the brakes didn't work when i had fluid at the bleeder. I never jacked it up to verify...
