DMowrey,
What brand/size are those tires? They look great! Those are stock wheels, right?

Aftermarket seats
Howdy, As I'm in the planning stage of my M37 project, I was wondering... What aftermarket seats or seats originally from a different vehicle have people used in their Resto-mod M37? How did you mount those seats? Did you bolt them to the existing seat box/ sheet metal in the cab, or did you relocat...

Sound dampening materials
As I'm preparing to get started on my truck, I'd like to do some sound dampening while I'm at it. I'm curious if anyone else has done anything along these lines, too! I'm planning to use a bunch of spray on bed liner. Im thinking that using it as an undercoating on the underside of the fenders, cab,...

Rear axle swap, 14-bolt dually?
I have access to a GM 14-bolt rear axle to swap into my M37, it's a dually axle... I'm thinking that may be desirable because of the narrowness of the wheel track if I take off the outer wheels. I'm still learning about this stuff, and I've been reading a ton both here and on Steel Soldiers. Can any...

Re: MP Trucks
K8, W30bob, thanks for the info! I, too have been an MP for quite a bit of time...Although retired from all that, now. I just thought it might be nifty to think about this as an option for my truck, when I get around to it. I really think I will go with the 4-color camo, though. Not many of those ar...

MP Trucks
Howdy, Does anybody have pictures of an M37 in Army Military Police markings? I'm not even sure this was ever actually a thing, but I have seen pics of a couple M37's marked as Marine MP trucks. Having deployed with an MP unit, I think I'd like to set my rig up that way...Perhaps with the MERDC camo...

Re: New build...I'm already deeply in over my head!
And if you paid the asking price on the project, you are in it very right. I was sore tempted to drive out and snap that one up, but it just couldn't be arranged in time. Just me, yes indeed. I'm not complaining. I've been watching this one from many months back, when it first appeared on CL. I wou...

Re: New build...I'm already deeply in over my head!
sturmtyger380, That building belongs to the man I"m buying the truck from, it's similar to a Quonset in it's construction. I don't have the vehicle ID numbers on hand, but I'll post em when I get em. ...If you mean MY contact info, I'm new here but I'll fill out my profile...sorry, lol I'm in D...

Re: New build...I'm already deeply in over my head!
k8icu, I'm aware that modern axles will need the spring perches moved, and might need to be shortened. I'm trying to figure out what combination of components will work. I have a line on two different 99 Dodge Durango's that could be donors for engines (5.9L/360Ci) trans, t-case and perhaps other pa...

Re: New build...I'm already deeply in over my head!
W30bob, what you say makes an awful lot of sense. I think I'll take that advice. Some background on me: I'm a retired veteran, I spent 4 years in the Navy as a firefighter on a Destroyer. Then, I joined the Army as a cannon-cocker in the Field Artillery for 3 years, and then transferred to the Natio...

New build...I'm already deeply in over my head!
Howdy, I'm new to this forum, but this seems like a good place to be to learn a few things about these trucks. I'm in the process of paying or a 53 M37 here in Colorado. The man I"m buying it from has already done a lot o the work for me, as the truck is currently a rolling chassis and the rest...
