PTO removal help

Removing an M37 PTO from the transmission but running into clearance issues with the frame and sheet metal to get if off the mounting studs. Suggestions on how to do this without pulling the whole engine/transmission assembly?

Re: '51 M37 Build

With the PTO attachment there is very little access to disconnect the clutch linkage inside the frame rail. I'll likely pull the whole clutch/brake pedal shaft assembly from the outside of the frame rail after disconnecting what I can from the other side.

Re: '51 M37 Build

Anyone know the clutch linkage disconnects? It's a tad hard for me to see.

Re: WTB Bed mount spare tire bracket

Ditto.
From what I've seen the repo parts look like the best bet unless you come across NOS/take off at a good price.

Re: Combat Wheels - replacement parts (studs/outer rings)

Drat, 4/6 wheels are structurally corroded beyond repair. outer rings and inner rim are rusted all the way through. It's unfortunate they were left unprotected in the elements for so long.

Re: Couple of questions on rewiring

Looks like I'm in for building a harness by hand. I've done so before on a '67 Plymouth GTX. The M37 is comparatively simple.
Ug, new harnesses are $1000 - Ridiculous.

Re: Couple of questions on rewiring

Looks like my wiring harness is going to need replacement or significant repair. VPW/Midwest or other less costly options?

Look for combat wheel studs on this page.
