Re: Winch Questions
Thanks for the information.
I'll have to dig into it farther.
The free spool lever does move, I can't recall what position it is in right now.
I tried it in both positions, but no go. It's probably stuck. I don't know how long the truck has been sitting.

Winch Questions
I have a PTO winch on my M37. I have a couple of questions about the winch. Does the winch have a free spool on it? What does the small lever on the passenger side do? I was moving the truck around the yard, I went to hook up to the winch cable to pull it. The cable just pulled off the drum. I reach...

Help with choosing what engine to swap in
I looking for advice on what engine to swap into my M37. What i have in mind is one of two engines. The first is a 351W Ford with a ZF 5spd or a Cummins 6bt with a NV4500. What ever engine I decide to go with, I will be swapping the axles out for a D60 front with a D70 rear with 4.56 gears. With the...

Thanks for the reply.
The top has some big dents in the top, but I should be able to get most of it out.
I just have to work on getting a title for it and it would be worth even more with that.

Oil Filter
Hi all; I joined the ranks of M37 owners. This my first on of these trucks.
The first thing I would like to do is find out if my truck runs. Before I do this I want to change the oil and filter.
Are the oil filters easy to get and where can I get one?
What oil is recommended?
Thanks for your help
