FREE!! Frame, engine block, hoods, cab, etc.

Baltimore MD. Getting ready to move and I can't take the donor with me. She's been good to me, providing all kinds of extra parts for my restoration, and she's still got plenty to give. - 2 hoods - doors - right front fender - windshield frames - cab - engine block - transmission - transfer case - d...

Re: Need photos, driver's seat cover install

Yah see yours fits just fine, the fabric is in the correct position to meet the notch. Maybe I have the wrong fabric? Dang, I was hoping to not have to buy this again. Thanks for posting Bruce.

Re: Need photos, driver's seat cover install

The wood seems original and had the hardware and stenciling. I used it as a stencil and created a new one from it. The canvas.. I can't quite recall where I got that from. I suppose it's possible that it's for something else? I'd love to see a photo of someone else's seat from the top installed.

Re: Need photos, driver's seat cover install

OK I'm stumped and have a question. So I finally got all the hardware needed to put the bench seat bottom together. After successfully lacing up the 1/4" rope and really prying the crap out of the canvas to stretch over the wood it was done, but then I realized that the relief notch in the wood...

Re: Need photos, driver's seat cover install

Having gone down the same path here I'll throw in my two cents. I went to Lowes and looked in their specialty parts section where the hardware is. For the bobbins I discovered washered nuts. They look almost identical and will serve the purpose well. Of course they didn't have the quantity I needed ...

Re: Cab Spring Bolts

IMG_0615a.jpg OK so after looking in the manual I found this nifty little diagram. I forgot that when I talked to Vintage about the bolts which they didn't sell, they did recommend these rubber pads (where it says B-Pad). The manual calls for one on each, but they said best to double up. Figured wh...

Re: Cab Spring Bolts

The bolts were all around rough with the heads practically pitted down to nothing. Since I was in there I wanted to make them look somewhat uniform. First I tried Home Depot which was a waste of time, then I went to a local fastener supply place. Of course they had what I needed. 2x 8"x1/2"...

WTB Driver Door Baltimore Maryland

Looking for a cherry driver door for my M37. I've got two with some issues. Looking to buy one that doesn't need a lot of work. I've got the glass, just looking for the shell but will take it if it's a whole assembly.

Sweet thanks for the placement info guys. It's been so long since I had the truck in one piece it's hard to remember how it all goes!
