M37 gas tank vent line

Can anyone tell me what screws into the tank that the filler neck vent line hooks to? My tank has nothing but a threaded opening and For the life of me, I cannot figure what goes in there or where to get that piece. Thanks for any help.

I have shipped things via Greyhound. Slow but a little cheaper than the normal carriers. I shipped a 5 speed trans that way. No problems. You might want to give that a try.

Re: Replacement gas tank

I too am interested in some additional details about using the s10 gas tank. I found a tank from a 89 GMC s15 jimmy. It looks like it will work, but I'm just not sure about the hooking up details. Any additional info would be appreciated. Thanks

That looks great. I have an M38a1 done in Strada Blue. I was thinking of doing my 58 M37 in Strada Blue also. After looking at your photo's, I think I will, that way I have a matched set. Once again, fantastic. It must be an Air Force thing.
