Guys, thanks for the great info. No, I didn't check the search feature. I should have, but I'm new to internet chat and discussion forums. Thank you for your patience.

paint and primer

I am gathering materials for my first major job on my m37. My plan is to remove the bed and work on the vehicle from the cab back. In planning for repainting, i have a few questions. First, does anyone have a specific primer they would recommend using for the vehicle? Next, I have seen images of m37...

Re: Bad week for the M-37

Don't feel bad. I bought my first m37 about 3 weeks ago. It's my first ever military truck and restoration vehicle. There were two holes in our canvas, which appeared by condition to be the original one. By the time we got it off (to take it to a canva shop to see what could be done about the two ho...

Re: Missed your truck...

I have also taken the vehicle to a mechanic I know to make s...

Re: Advice wanted

paladin, I see you are in Utah. I am in RI. I came across my 1962 m37 sitting by the side of the road 3 weeks ago. Now here I am, starting all of this as a novice. It will be a project vehicle for my younger son and I. I can imagine it must be tough to let yours go. But just like I found mine, I am ...

Advice wanted.....

Hello. Two weeks ago I purchased a 1962 M37 in Rhode Island, where I live. The truck is in good shape for a 1962 and runs fine. I have a slow leak in the area of the master cylinder and found a new one in the glove compartment. I add a little brake fluid every couple of days and that has been my qui...
