Re: BRAKE MASTER SWAP

Did you shorten Dana 60 in front? Did you use stock springs or custom. Have other questions. Please contact me.

Re: Disc brakes and tubeless wheel

Did you ever try the stockton wheel to see if it would fit over the stock brake drum?

Re: Disc brakes and tubeless wheel

Hello, will these wheels clear the old drums? I think I have to go to 17 inch to clear the drums, but not sure. I just contacted Stockton wheels, they told me if I send my old wheels or centers that the turn around time to have wheels made would be about 4 weeks. Price would be $205 a wheel. I may u...

Re: tires and rims.

I ran 13/38/16 super swamper tsl tires since 1988 and they are still on the vehicle. These are tubless tires, but i ran tubes in them with new flaps, never had a problem. Ran them on budd split rims. They are also bias ply.

M37 mechanical issues

Looking for someone near me to work on my M37. My knees and neck and back are shot, can't do much anymore. I have had the truck for 41 years. Bought it when I was 19 and am 60. Is there anybody out there near Erie, Pa. that would be interested? How about anyone within a few hundred miles?

Re: considering 325/85R16 michelin's on my first M37

I have never had an issue with the 13/38/16 swampers on the 6.5 inch military budd wheel as to crowning in the center due to the narrow wheel. I ran a strip of white chalk across the tread and they ran flat, probably because of the weight of the truck and a 6 ply tire. I can't remember the tire infl...

Re: considering 325/85R16 michelin's on my first M37

I run 13/38/16 super swamper tsl's. They are 12.70 inch wide and fit fine on the old split rim. In fact I have the same tires on it since 1988. I don't see any problem with the 325/85/16's fitting. Would like to find a reasonably priced one piece aftermarket wheel using my centers. Vintage has 17x8'...

M-37 brakes

Need some info. My truck needs complete brake job, including drums. What would be better, change to disc set up or go with all new parts for the drum set up? I found NOS drums at a couple of places, need some input, disc kits are $500 plus rotors, pads, and have hubs machined. I found Raybestos whee...

M-37 brakes

Just made my brake bleeder kit out of a gatorade bottle and 3/16 clear hose. Did all 4 wheels, no air in lines, but pedal still goes to floor, only after pumping a lot I get about a half a pedal, and it isn't very firm. What to do. Frustating. I had to bleed because of a leaky wheel cylinder I repla...

Re: Master cylinder squirts fluid from top

Won't this type of MC get water in it? Should I get one that is vented to the carb? It has a very smalll pin hole for a vent but I suppose if you get into enough water it might get in. What do you think?

Re: Master cylinder squirts fluid from top

Yes, I too have a master cylinder with the top vented plug and fluid comes out as I pump up the brakes. Had a leaky wheel cylinder and replaced, now trying to bleed and fluid comes out the tiny hole in filler plug. Took plug to hardware store to try to get one that is not vented, could not find anyt...
