cleaning and care of canvas top

thought I'd get some input from yall on the best methods for cleaning and caring for the top canvas. i have heard everything from Spray9 then beeswax, to leave it alone! i havent the luxury of a nice dry garage to store the ole boy, so it is something i would like to keep abreast on.

Re: WANTED Passenger Side Door

Yes, I remember them on ebay and you are right on with the price.what they wanted in february was 195 and 65 to ship. I thought they quoted me wrong so I reconfirmed.outrageous. regardless of the nos supply drying up, that is unjustifiable.

Re: Data Plate found on frame-back driver's side

The Army Missle Command is what makes me think an M506. They were used just for Missle maintainance. Would also make sense if the Martin Co was as in Lockheed Martin.

Re: Data Plate found on frame-back driver's side

Can you tell a little about the truck? Dunno if any members on here are familiar with or have one, but my suspicion would be that the truck was an m506. Martin co prob made the rigging mods to the m37 to covert it and put the plate on.

Re: paint and primer

although it is not cheap i have used epoxy primer from PPG and it is amazingly tough and durable itself without a top coat. Arvore makes an epoxy rebar paint that i used to use under mower decks.NEVER had any of it wear off! many times i have used it as a base coat before painting something that was...
