Re: Frame Twist: How Much Is Too Much?

Although it looks like you have your supported at only two points and should be getting GOOD measurements, when I had my frame bare I noted that even a variation in the shop floor was transferred to the frame. I found that the frames are so flexible it is very difficult to get the correct numbers, w...

Re: 20 inch rims for m37

Without re-centering a set of 20 inch rims I think you are out of luck. Centers can be cut cheaper then you might think. However you have to consider the machine work required to fit our M37 Lug-centric hubs, and to get them true to those lugs. I did a set of HHMV 16.5 and had about $100 invested in...

Re: Shipping Heavy Stuff???

Look no further then Fastenal. I've shipped several things and was smooth as silk. Arrange per instructions on the website. Shipper drops at their local store. Buyer picks up at theirs. Takes a little longer then typical shippers but well worth the wait. 002

Re: Frame Repair Help Needed

My frame is bare (give or take) currently. I'd make a template for you, but in looking at the contour of the cross member a template will be difficult to position correctly in the same location from mine to yours. Pictures would be far easier to transmit and may actually give a better location. Do y...

GM Hydro Boost

I am equipping my m-37 repower/disc brake conversion with the GM Hydro Boost brake system like many others have done. Rather than junk yard parts I purchased remanufactured hydro boost and master cylinder from NAPA. However the rod and spring that is required must come from a GM Dealer. I have attac...

Re: Cummins 4BT and M37/M42 Build with LOTS of parts (new, N

I sure hope someone else has bought this. It is way to far from me. But that seems like a great price for such a large collection. You could drive from anywhere in the US pick it up and be home before you could order even half of it, even if you could find it.

hanging pedals

As part of my rebuild I will be installing hanging brake and clutch pedals. I have collected a Helitool FFPW hanging pedal kit but somehow overlooked that it is not a direct bolt on for a M37. Researching Master Yota's Old Guard build I see that the mods necessary are not too complex. I was wonderin...

Re: Front Fender Patch Panel

I need two fender patch panels. I guess they are different side to side, so make that I need one right and one left. Only 999 more to pre-sell and let the stamping commence.

Re: List Your Parts Finds/Bargains HERE

Hub protectors... Locking hub guards... Money well spent.... Call them what you like. I am getting the Board attachment quota has been reached message so I can't post a pic I guess. 5 Inch round pipes that bolt horizontally out from the drive flange bolts to protect aftermarket locking hubs on the f...

Re: List Your Parts Finds/Bargains HERE

Purchased hub protectors for AVM hubs from Mike Clark. $100 each plus shipping. rusty wreck <mrmc99@yahoo.com>. I'm NOT this person. I have not received mine yet, but have seen the product. He said he will have to make another run. Not a steal but a good price.

Re: List Your Parts Finds/Bargains HERE

Thanks. Ordered set of headlight rings, throttle cable, lift shackles, and door hinges. The hinges showed not enough in stock on the website but a quick call found an error and they were quickly added to my order. Good Seller. Thanks again.

Re: m37 front springs winch truck/non winch truck

Using 360 Poly, will also be adding a 12V winch. I removed two of the shortest from the rear to improve ride because I won't really be hauling anything and will probably install a roll bar and seating in the bed at some time. Additionally was looking for increased articulation. The two I added were ...
