Re: Australian economy sucks sometimes....
Yeah, Tire prices are tough in America these days as well. 6 or 8 years ago, when the price of oil went through the roof, tire prices doubled over the course of a couple years. Then when specialty tire manufacturer Denman went under, specialty tires were hard to find even at twice the price :( I fig...

Re: Detroit Locker in M37 ??
The "Detroit Locker Style" locker I saw on Ebay looked like a plain old Lock Right in a factory case/differential to me. Function is very similar between the two, but Detroits are usually a full case locker, and L.R.s just replace the spider gears. I don't believe Detroit actually even mak...

Re: My first M37, its not pretty but it pushes snow
No wood back there at all.
Aluminum excrusions are attached to the fiberglass at the B pillar, behind the door glass,
but no wood.
Thanks Bruce,
Jimmy

Re: My first M37, its not pretty but it pushes snow
Thanks Ed, I'll take some better pics when I get a chance. The top is fiberglass, with raised mounts for running lights on top, and its mounted by rivets to a metal band attached to the cab. The back window is rectangular, with rounded corners. Regular glass (one corner is cracked, taped in place fo...

Re: My first M37, its not pretty but it pushes snow
Well I am happy with it, so I'm glad no one got to it first ;) I do have a question though, NH requires VIN verification since there is no title. I found the ID number on the glove box data plate, is it also frame stamped somewhere? I saw a pic in another thread, but it didn't say where the frame st...

Re: My first M37, its not pretty but it pushes snow
Thanks guys! I'll have some questions soon enough, still reading & learning going through all the old posts here, Lots and lots of good information here! :D Tuko, It was on NH Craigslist, but actually located just over the border in Maine. The guy owned it as a driveway/lot plow for a few years,...

Re: My first M37, its not pretty but it pushes snow
Thanks Rich! I think the price was based on scrap value more than anything else :( It runs great, in the spring I'm planning to pull the bed off, and wirebrushing the rust off the frame to see how good/bad it really is. If its not too far gone, I'll see how far I can get it on a shoe string budget. ...
