Re: 350 in a m37
My thoughts on a 350 swap are (a) the 350 will snap the rear axle drive shafts for sure. That can be taken care of with upgrade chromoly axle shafts from Foote Axles. (b) I suspect that the automatic tranny is too long to fit. (c) power steering is doable with a Saginaw steering box. Check out Snake...

Re: tires and rims.
Food for thought...MRW (Marsh Racing Wheels) make rims to your specifications that match the 5 lug bolt pattern. A friend had them sized to mount HUMVEE tires and they work fine. $120 each.

Just unloaded a new batch of rear axle shafts. I have 5 pair (out of ten) left. A steel analisys is available through Foote for around $100 as per the manager. They are Chrome Moly steel. Check out a truck pull video on you tube "dodge m37 truck pull". That is my m37 with the very first pa...

Re: For those that have broken axleshafts...
Hi guys. Just want to let you know that I am ready to place another order with Foote Axles In Los Angeles for a batch of 5 pair axle shafts. The ultimate stress test was a couple months ago when I did a truck pull with my rig and the axles stood up 100% with Gama Goat wheels and a 383 Mopar. Check o...

Re: New reproduction axle shafts.
back at ya Tuko...LMAO...I expected a tad bit of respect and a wee bit of the benefit of the doubt because (a) I found someone on my own to build me the damn things, (b) for having the kahunas to bet $4k that they work and (c) to pawn 'em off at cost so other M'rs could enjoy their crates more...LOL...

Re: Rejuvenating rubber firewall grommets
Hi Justin.
I would consider windshield urethane glue over and around the grommet. It may well cover the cracks and give you a fresh seal. $20 a tube at Carquest. Alternatively ask for a spent tube at the glass shop. My 2 cents worth.
Wolff.

Re: WTB: M43 interior Cab roof panels
Hi there njjeep.
I have a rustbucket M43. Don't know if the interior cab panels are still there. The M is 48 miles from me in storage. I'll be there next weekend. Stay in touch. I'll get with you next Sunday and let you know unless you find some in the meantime.

I would like to know what you paid for them and where you bought them. Been sitting on the fence long enough.
Thanks,
