Re: looking for images

thanks Bob,
I searched the internets as well and came across these and few others that are promising. I'm also perusing the manuals since those photolithographs are so beautiful.

cheers,

Re: Pertronix questions..

That mounting plate looks a lot bigger than the one mine came with, which was a much smaller u-shaped plate that screwed right down without any mods. Methinks you may have the wrong one?
I'm sure someone here will post a pic of theirs, I'm not near my truck right now.

looking for images

Gents,
I am on the look-out for some images of a 230 with the head removed, preferably a bird's eye view if possible. I supposed the images could also be of the inner side of a head.
It's for a fun side-project...

thanks for anything you can throw my way!

An older guy wearing a camo army cap walked up to me and said the last time he saw one of those (my) trucks was when he was being transported off the front line in one in Korea with an in...

Re: Rust Bustin' with Lemon Juice

I'd be curious how long one can use the same "batch" of juice before it loses its effectiveness. I can imagine the acid eventually breaking down after chewing through lots of rust.....keep us posted!

Re: Jack stands

I always use a square piece of 2x4 between the jack stand and the axle. It gives a little bit more height (1.5") and the wood slightly deforms under the weight to cradle it fairly well. Maybe some board stock underneath would give some height also or some larger jack stands. thanks, I was plan...
