Need the size of...

...the crankshaft nut on the front (that the crank handle fits into).

By "size" do you mean the thread diameter and pitch of the threaded end of the cranking jaw, p/n 7702761? I don't have the numbers here at the moment (and the parts catalog doesn't spec them), but I can measure the part when I'm back at my shop tomorrow.

Gary,
Mine is 1 11/16". If you don't have a winch a nice long extension works great for turning the motor over. If you have a winch it's less fun.

if i remember right a 42mm socket will also do it

And set the parking brake with the truck in high range, 4th gear, if you're trying to remove the nut

Measured the hex on two different cranking jaws, and came up with the same thing: 1-11/16".
