After looking through some of my acquired "M37 stuff" I found a canvas cab top but I really think it might be for a deuce 1/2 or the like. It has the metal twist fasteners along the exterior of the upper sides (above the driver's and passenger's heads). Rectangular plastic rear window. Also along the bottom (exterior) rear it has straps with metal buckles to cinch it down. Can anyone here give me some confirmation on what I have?

Sounds like a deuce top to me. Does the inside back edge at the top have two reinforced sections? I ask because the deuce cage has two metal bars running across as opposed to the M37's single bar.

A deuce top will have the grommet holes for the ropes like a M-37. No buckles used.

Only one reinforced strip in that area (pic 4 shows the upper back edge somewhat turned inside out). However it has the snap loops further up that would obviously go around a second bar.

After more searching, It looks to be a M38A1 winter top. Separate curtains attach at the rear sides. Rear straps go to the tailgate.

I think you are correct M38 or M38A1 top. If it is a jeep top it will be to long to fit the M37 properly.
