41" Continental MPT's

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and new to the M37 scene. I have always loved civilian Power Wagons and recently picked up an M37 because, being a military guy myself, have a spot in my heart for vintage military dodges. I have a build plan in my head for the truck, and need some help putting some ideas together.

First: Dose anyone out there have a m37 with a set of Continental MPT's? Looking for a good reference for my upcoming build. I want to use the same wheel and tire combo as the Legacy Power Wagon at SEMA this year.

Second: I am looking for some pictures of non-traditional M's with a civilian power wagon take on it. (I.e.-paint scheme, engine, tire/wheel combo, etc)

Any help would be much appreciated!

welcome.

strata blue with black fenders, running boards and grill would look good. 41s will work many 37s out there supporting gamma goat tiers. they make the truck look so much bigger

even a 44 x 15 will fit......ImageImage
well as long as you plan on only driving in a strait line  Image

looking forward to seeing your project

whats the max you can do on a stock suspension M37 with no rubbing?

do they come in smaller sizes?

Can't Decide between the 275/80r20 or 335/80r20. I dont want the tires to appear to big on the rig.

First welcome to the site.

Well for starters the Power Wagon that you posted in your link has been reaxled. The stock axles are a five lug where as the ones in the photo are 8 lug. Plus you can tell by the diff cover as the M37 doesn't have a bolt on diff cover. So if your planned truck is going to use those rims you'll need to reaxle which isn't a bolt in job. That doesn't mean you can't get custom rims made with the correct bolt pattern for the stock rims, just saying that is what I see off the bat.

If you look through the threads on here you'll see many M37s that have received a civilian power wagon type paint job. Also do a image search in your vavorite search engine and you'll see a whole lot more. I've often thought of doing a hint to the military in a civlian style. Like a gloss or semi-gloss body with black gloss or semi-gloss fenders.
