I currently have 4 doors, one new passenger shell, one decent drivers take off and my pair that was on the truck. I started the learning process by stripping down my passenger door. Then started on the drivers door and realized something was wrong. It seems (at least to me) that I have a passenger glass frame in the drivers side. My first clue was the spacers and longer bolts on the window stop so it would work. I went to my manual and the parts break down and only saw one number for the frame.
My questions,

Is there a left and right to these frames?
Are the window channel liners available and what do they cost?
Are the top of door wipers available and cost?

Yes, there is a left and a right frame. I got my glass rubbers from George Mainieri, he might still have some, or try John at Midwest Military. I got the top wipers from Memphis Equipment.

Thanks Tim,At least on the Memphis site I saw the pieces instead of just a description. While looking at my channels I believe I came up with a make do. I will buy the 4 this time around but down the road the supply may dry up. If I had too I would glue in a piece of Vinyl siding J channel, I had some hanging around and looked like a perfect fit, to inside line the riveted in liner.

Another note, I put new tracks or sliders in the doors that the frame goes up and down in. They don't work worth a darn. Too tight a fit. Did they all work like this? There is no further adjustment to free them up more, I even tried polishing the painted frame to slick them. No joy. I'm interested in this thread and info., no trying to hyjack it. John

I also replaced the tracks that the window slides up and down in, and also find the windows tight. I assume it just needs to get worn in a bit.

Interesting to here about the tightness with the new channels. Since I have the time and extra worn out channels I may just give the Vinyl a try. I really would rather have a free cranking window than to fight the crank. If it leaks some air, I don't care as I drove the truck in the winter with holes in the tub big enough for squirrels to visit!

The felt/hair that lined the window tracks is not a vinal. I had a friend use velcrow strips in another application. Worked well. It might be thinner than the new stuff which would be better in my opinion. John

I had a tougher time finding the glass sweeps more than anything else-got 'em from Adirondack Dodge as I recall.
