On our last trip we stopped off at Balmoral Castle, but unfortunately the Queen wasn't in residence so we weren't invited in for afternoon tea...

Awwww! Too bad HRH wasn't "at home." I understand that she brews a wicked awesome cuppa!

If she had been home she would have been able to show you how to change the oil in your truck and where to find all the grease zirks.

Well, there's a souvenir shop at the front gates and the ladies there were delighted to see us all turn up. I think it made their day! Also, a coach full of tourists had arrived and it made a great photo opportunity for them!

Quite so! She did, after all, perform her National Service as a driver in the Army during WWII.

Great pictures Stu. I love seeing your M in line with the other vehicles. Could you tell what the others are ? Hey is that a water truck? It looks like the Matchbox Austin 200 gallon water truck #71 from 1959.
