CRKT Breaker Questions

Is there a way to test the Crkt Breakers? If so, how?
On the newer breakers with the rubber Packard connections does it matter which end is the power input?
Thanks

It doesn't matter what sort of connectors you have. Vehicle electrical systems are direct current (DC) systems. The "hot" wire always goes to the (+) side of the breaker, while the ground goes to the (-) side.

Thanks.
How do I identify + and - sides on the Packard type breaker. Mine are not labeled and both connectors are the same. This breakes was part of a M-151 heater kit.

PS I thought the breakers are like a fuse, power in one end, through the fuse or breaker and power out the other end. No ground involved, am i missing something?

DUH! I was thinking in terms of relays, in which the "hot" wire goes into the coil of an electromagnet.

If the connectors are the same, it probably doesn't matter. If there is one male connector and one female connector, as there should be if installing it in an existing circuit, then you will have to plug it in accordingly.
Testing

Testing to see if the breaker would trip at its rated load (20amps) would be a bit involved.
You can test for continuity with a simple multi-tester or a flashlight bulb, battery and some wire.
