I wish to upgrade to a dual circuit master cylinder, I think. Does anybody have a NAPA or other number for a dual circuit MC for 4 wheel drum brakes with a residual pressure check valve built in? The article in MV magazine gives a number but it is for the front disc conversion. I am replacing the entire system, lines, hoses, wheel cylinders, I could keep the original single circuit style also? The dual set up is of course safer, but the original is less greif to install. Of course I stripped my whole truck down to the bare frame, so drilling new holes and a few mods cant be too challenging at this point LOL. Insight and thoughts please. Thanks.

After 103 views nobody had an answer to your post so I did so research and your are going to use a NAPA#TS 101405 which is for a 1970 3/4 ton four wheel drum, non-power brake system and has an internal residual check valve . You will advise everybody how this goes. Good Luck.

Hello Hingsingm37. I was 1 of the 103 who read your question. Unfortunattely there is no way in this life I could answer it, since there is no such thing as Napa in Greece, or anything as such. Hence I did not post a reply. I guess all the others did not reply because they did not have this information and only for this reason. In any case, good luck with your project. Happy New Year.

would this part be suitable still if a hydrovac booster was installed ?

I do not know if it could be adapted. That part # is for a early 1970's civilian 3/4 ton with 4 way drums.

G'day David, I run a VH80 booster on my truck and when it was drums all round it worked fine, the main pull to the disc brake upgrade is was the cost of getting drums here as mine were getting out of service (or so I thought anyhow) so with the kindness and help from Ray, Brigand and others I have the 4 wheel disc conversion on mine and I'll go to the dual circuit master cylinder conversion in winter minus the booster I have, you are welcome to it but I am sure you can find something locally for a few $ only. I can take some pictures if you like to give you an idea as to how it was done....
