got a lot done and pushed it out side!
made my own paint color with rustoleum. full can or leather brown and dark hunter green.
made the grille out of 2"x 1/8" aluminum. weights pretty much nothing. i wanted to make it out of 2 1/2"x 1/4" but cost goes way up.

It is fun to get the details on it. I cant wait to get it on the truck scales. So far the coil over shocks say it is much lighter than my old Cherokee the drivetrain came out of. I think i might put some fake rivets in the half doors to match

I just could never spend the $ for a real one to get rust. I think i am at about 3500 in build materials now

most of the tail gate is done
need to get some modern wire straps to hold her level
i wanted it mounted to frame more than typical barrel style pivot on the bed itself. 1/2" bolt, 1/4" plate
