Yes I am excited to finally get things started David, I do have enough stuff to fill it and move in will start as soon as the floor is sealed but will have to delay that until the conc. sets for 30 days.

Bob, it has one 8' and one 12' roll-up garage doors and that "itty-bitty full size door over on the right", three windows as well as a band of 4' high translucent light emitting fiberglass panels around the top of the walls.
Tuko, it is a kit but not a precut one and is supplied by Conestoga Structures Inc. with all the needed steel siding, roofing, doors, windows and wood to be cut on site by the Mennonite crew, team leader is 21 yrs. old, and 2 others one 16 and to my amazement the hardest working one age 12, yup just 12.
two brothers and a cousin. They never stopped all day for a break just build, build, build.
MM, A pole barn is built by auguring 5' deep holes for the 6" by 6" treated timber "poles" that are set in concrete which support the structure and after the building is completed the floor is poured over 4"s of stone, 4" of concrete over most of the area with a 6" section behind the 12' garage door to support the lift to be installed sometime later if my lady OKs it.

That's going to be one bad-azz looking "shed" when you're done. Which at the rate those guys work should be by dinnertime today!
When you applied for your permits does Maryland consider a pole building a "Permanent Structure"....meaning you get taxed on it....or is it not considered permanent and just an outbuilding?

Hi Carter,
The building is looking good. I like that it is a true bole barn that will last for many years.
I built a "Morton Buildings" one just like it, but did complete overkill for the floor. (6 bag, 7" thick air entrained concrete floor with epoxy coated road mesh on risers with fiber mesh in the mix)

Permanent....poles set in concrete and yes taxed however I now live in Pennsylvania and do not know if it is different in Md.

Got a price from Morton, Graber and this group who did have a small but important discount if I signed by a certain date which happened to be ready to sign so we saved over a grand going with them.
Bet your floor will never crack.
Did you pay extra for the epoxy coated road mesh or was that standard?
