Spark Plug gap with electronic ignition?

I'm running a Pertronix MV-161A electronic ignition in my 251 engine. I thought I read somewhere that you should use a different plug gap with electronic ignition as compared to what is recommended for a points & condenser system, but I can't find that reference now.
The manual calls for .028 to .033 gap with the standard ignition system. I'm pretty sure I'm in that range now. Engine is running fine. Just curious if it's worth looking at changing things.
