If I remember correctly, a guy in Steel Soldiers forum was checking once for building a 265 with an Spitfire head. But I think the project got stuck because of the longer stroke needed for the 265 in comparison to the 251 flathead….., or was it the complications of finding spare parts? Cannot recall.
Better you check there or at Power Wagon Advertiser forum (which, by the way, I never get their password reset email…is that site still active???).

Tim Holloway just had a 251 converted to a 265 and put it in his M37 (which had a 230 in it prior to that).

251's are around, the old PW's used them stock. The 265 is a rare one, only found in the big Chrysler and DeSoto cars.

All that series flatheads (218 thru 265) had the same bellhousing dimensions.

In the day of hotrods with them, some were bored & stroked out to almost 300 cubes.

I have a basket-case rusty 251 if someone wants to go thru the beadblasting and machinework to bring it back, free for shipping from AZ.

A 40's-50's Motors Manual is a great reference for those engines.
