That's all for now. Gotta love chromoly steel! Overkill? Oh hell yes.
When this is done the weak link will be the axles. However, I have no intentions of 4 wheeling to the point of breaking anything.

Murf - you are making one from scratch? That's impressive.

I wish I could take the credit. I just tactically provided a very talented friend a wish and a challenge   . He is the impressive one. He works at a high-end CNC shop of course. He took the object and reversed engineered it with calipers (no laser measuring devices) and my explanations of its workings and me sending him photos of the stock hub drawings in the maintenance manual. He then input it in the cad ran it through a simulation and eliminated any "bugs" prior to milling. He's not one to replicate shortcomings of the production level item. Thus, any weaknesses were eliminated primarily by using good materials.
He's a down to earth guy, NOT a mentally removed from reality engineer who can't understand the practical use of what they are making. He said it was a blast to get back to basics of design and use the machines again.

And the BEST part.........
He works for beer!

Good $ could be made from mass producing those again...

If the original operation didn't mind.
