Where are the 7/16 square lock washers? VPW, MM, McMaster don’t have. Snake River is out of business.

try Mcmaster carr. they have them in the washer section- kind of pricy. They are called internal tooth lockwashers, the pic doesn't seem right but that is what they are, I have bought them from them.

I've never tried it with those particular washers, but with some washers, you can fit them on the next size larger bolt (though it may take a bit of wiggling to get them on.)

Yeah, if 1/2” were available I’d try those. 3/8 and smaller are all I can find.

My point was that a 3/8" washer MIGHT fit on a 7/16" bolt.

I bought quite a few twenty years ago, I'm finished all but my tailgate (and maybe an engine swap) I look and see what I've got.
I purchased them from Snake River, they were not cheap.

I talked to the guy at the end of the Snake River phone number. He said he's outta business and sold all his stuff to VPW. They, of course, didn't have any. John told me to go to McMaster.

I reached out to an ITW distributor and they didn't have 7/16 either. Seems like someone could get a small run of these and make a little money. Of all the sizes i think 7/16 is the most common, at least on the floorboards.

The ones available through Mc Master aren't the right ones, I haven't checked out my stash yet.
The ones I bought from Tom at Snake River were not cheap either!

The pic on M C is not a good one, and does not look like it would be right, but they are.
