Does anyone have a link to a picture of how the straps are properly tied down. I have looked at several pictures and they are all a little different. I don't want anything to fall off while driving.

If you don't plan on actually using the tools, you can do what some of the other guys do and secure them with nylon cable ties which are then hidden by the webbing straps.

Is what most folks say, if you notice, I've used 4.......my bad, huh? Also the zip-ties are present.
(BTW, the extra strap is near the shovel handle, only supposed to be one on the Mattock handle/point.)

Her is another shot from Carter's webshots. The rule is one strap for each tool. So, in this pic the center strap should only be around the axe handle.

Nice job - we have started looking for the tools with the natural wood handles... so far no luck.

Try Lehman's Hardware on line for natural wood handle tools. They're out of Kidron, Ohio.
