Pulling the flathead 6

I need to pull my engine and transmission to freshen up the flathead. She has a serious leak from the front of the oil pan, and number one's lifters have a serious click when running.

My question so far is this- Does the accelerator linkage come out with the engine and transmission after you disconnect the pedal on the left side?

It all depends on whether you remember to disconnect it and how hard you pull to get it out!

You didn't think I would let that go by did you? After looking at my linkage that is what I would do, much easier to deal with once out on the floor. Be honest John, That thing has more than one serious "click" to it.

I seriously doubt you can wedge even a V6 567 in there.

They linkage is attached to the bell housing. Just had to undue the part from the pedal.
