Is there a bolt on carb to replace/upgrade the ETW1 ? I know of the E7T2 carb. From personal history, not a fan of the military carbs. Looking for practicality/usability over looks. I've also read Holly/Weber 32/36 model 5200 progressive manual is one, but i just don't see how its a bolt on replacement......

Carter B&B 1bbl from any dcpd 230. Remove airhorn and cleaner. Use civilian air cleaner. Figure a different way to vent the distributor. (If you just put elbows on the dizzy, you will be fine. The vent lines are not for cooling. They are to prevent ionization in the cap. Venting to atmosphere is sufficient. That is why there is a hole in the bottom of the civilian dizzy.)

RMS - How do you keep from over revving that engine with two carbs on it!
I still think the vent lines with a working vacuum pump does cool the dizzy. Non working pump, well yeah open elbows would be better than no flow.

I have found nothing more reliable or that works as well offroad than the stock carter/ it will run smoothly at any angle. they marketed it as the "Tip Proof Carburetor" i have tested that pitch and its true.
