Hi all,
I'm restoring the boards on my '1953 and am curious about the seat back boards on the passenger side by the cab, they have been shaved down on the ends about 1/8 inch deep just beyond the carriage bolts, I'm pretty sure the boards are original to the truck and am wondering if this is as they were issued.

That's where the "jump seat" would land when you're not carrying a spare in the bed.
