Humvee wheels?

Anyone have pics of a m37 with Humvee wheels? I've swapped over to 8 bolt Dodge axles and think the newer wheels would look good but was hoping to see a pic first. Think the Humvee wheels should fit with no problems on the axles. They are from a late 80s dodge.
Also, is it easy to switch from the CTIS over to standard valve stems? Think it would be as simple as pulling the old system out and putting new stems in if the hole through the rim is the same size.

Finding a pic of that is a heck of a long shot. The m37 is a 5 lug and a humvee is 8 requiring the specific axle swap.

Ive already swapped the axles. I'm fairly certain the humvee 8 bolt pattern will fit any early 90's and down 8 bolt axle.

The 8 bolt pattern is the same but the offset is the problem and the wheels interfere with brakes on most applications. HMMVW brakes are inboard so nothing inside the wheel.

The offset of HMMWV wheels doesn't play well with conventional axles. They have an offset a lot closer to a front wheel drive application. I used to fool with CUCVs and figured the cheapest way to get more road speep would be to put HMMWV wheels and tires on them. Doesn't work. Ended up using the HMMWV tires put had to hunt down wide 8 lug rims. "Camper Special" rims turned out to be the hot ticket.

Didnt realize the backspacing till i looked better at some pics. Ill have to see if i can find a bare rim for mockup. You can find some cheap sets of takeoffs on ebay, maybe with a decent wheel spacer wouldnt be too bad. I do like the looks.
Pics you can email me at superbee70 @ msn . Com. Just take out the spaces.

You guys do realize the HMMVW wheels are 16.5 inch and not 16 don't you?

Where? I have been looking for a couple years now. The supply seems to have dried up a couple years ago.

Been buying 24 bolt, both even and paired spacing, never pay more than 50/rim. These coming from the big online auction site. The D rated rim is great but the look of the paired 24 is awesome (to me)

I've been seeing sets on Ebay here and there for 350-800 or so for a set of 4 takeoffs mounted. seems decent price depending on tire wear but most look good. but they do seem to sell out fast.
I agree the 24 bolt? look good. I'll readily admit I'm not up on the differences between the rims and will need to do some research.

As much as I like the look of the HMMWV rim and yes you can get a set with tires for a reasonable price the wide back space is a problem plus I have to question if 16.5 inch rims in the future will be practical from a consumer tire aspect. Simply put will you be able to purchase 16.5 inch tire in the future? They are not used in the civilian world. It's either 16 inch or 17 inch and now 18 inc is becoming popular. I have often looked at putting HMMWV rims on my M37B3 project (swapped axles) but I don't want to be 10 years from now trying to buy 16.5 inch tires and not be able to except from places like Cooker or other specialty shops.
I would love to find an 8 bolt beadlock 16 inch rim that looks similar to the WWII WC Combat rims.
