Hi Guys,

Has anyone bought a good used running M37 engine from Bob Stahl at Veteran Vehicles? He still lists them on his website, and I'm in the market for one, so before I call them I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them, good or bad? Any ideas on the cheapest way to ship an engine these days?

I have never purchased anything from Bob, but I've spoken to him on the phone a couple of times and he seems like an honest guy. I know some people have had 4.89's installed by him with good results. Based on the direction my engine is heading, I'm interested in hearing what you find out about his engines.

I could never get ahold of him,
but he does have a lot of good parts for good prices

Done business with him several times, he lives right down the street from my office.
Friendly, seems very friendly and knowledgeable. I wouldn't hesitate to do business again, however I've hard from several people that he has become hard to get in touch with.

Old school guy, no cell phone, so maybe the land-line thing is tricky. Hope he is doing ok...
