Accelerator Pedal Assy.

The floor of my M37 is rusted out and I'm in the process of repairing it. Unfortunately the piece that holds the bottom of the gas pedal is gone. I looked in the parts book and it looks like its nomenclature is: Hinge, FSN G741-7351348, MFG No. CC-1279563, Ord No. 7351348. I looked on line and can find the pedal but not the hinge. Does anyone know a source for the hinge or preferably the whole pedal assembly?
I did find a pedal that look similar on a Jeep site. It is an OMIX-ADA 17733.01.
Thanks,
John, Grand Bay, Al

Thanks 'Just Me', but that's just the pedal. I need the piece that mounts to the floor (hinge) or better yet the whole pedal assembly with the hinge, pin, and pedal.

Midwest or Vintage might have them. I looked through the Vintage catalog and didn't see any, however.

I'm a rookie in M37 restoration, so I don't have any contacts in the community other than this board. I think there is a military vehicle club in northern Alabama. I'm still learning the ropes.

You may try Bob Stahl at Veteran Vehicles, I'm pretty sure he has a few parts trucks.

Midwest Military is perfect for parts also. Join your local MVPA chapter, it could help you if they have good members.

I'm sure Vintage Power Wagons would have them too.

Thanks to all who responded. I'll ask VPW when I call in my next order. They have the pedal in their catalog, but not the hinge. Hopefully they can pull one off a donor vehicle.

I found this while browsing today. Sometimes it helps to search outside the box.

Thanks 'Just Me'. I just ordered the part. Even if it isn't an exact fit, I can probably make it work.

Just a heads up on Omix Ada parts. If you can find the part from a different manufacturer, like Crown, avoid the Omix part.
I'm a member over on theCJ2Apage.com forums, and we've had issues with quality and fit with Omix parts. In the last few months two of our members have had Omix-made steering sector shafts shear off while driving. In one case, the member was just backing down his driveway. The other unit sheared during a trial ride in the Rockies in Colorado. He was lucky and got the vehicle stopped quickly, and another member had the gear to tow him out.

These aren't the only issues we've had, just the most serious. I picked up a set of shift lever boots from Omix and three months later they look like the originals did after almost 70 years - rotted, cracked and torn.

Never had an Omix part work. Never had an India part last. The link I gave the OP was for OEM parts.
