Trying to figure out what exactly the window sweeps and channels need to look like in profile so i can get the best stuff.
I think the sides need to be L shaped because the windows have no frames.
But inside the door is a U shaped deal and it looks like it had fuzzy stuff on it

You can buy NOS glides for inside the door inexpensively. They have all the correct holes in them already. I could NOT find an inexpensive aftermarket solution for the surround weatherseals. Everything is too small. Ended up paying the high price for the correct reproduction ones. BTW, the surround are fuzzy, also. Door weatherstrip and inner seal are easily sourced at your local jobber. The sweeps are available at what is a normal price from MWM or VPW. Shop the two of them. One has better pricing.

I found a set of dual track window glides in all the spares that came with my truck which is a soft top m37. When I get back to sc with the truck I am pretty sure they are not for my truck and you can have them. I got boxes of spares.

OK Billy, home from NE and CO now, back in SC. I am beginning to go thru the boxes and boxes and bags of spares that come with my '52 M 37. I am not sure what everything is, like bags of components for Douglas connectors, boxes of what appear to be assorted seals, and bearings, extra voltage regulators, rectifiers, a NOS coil I need to check out, assorted weather strips in sealed bags, spare military lights, gages, and so forth. Truck came with rear bows, good wood on them, and I stooped by a surplus army truck dealer who just happens to be in the small NE town where my wife's mom is, and he selected out things like a nice '52 fuel can, lug wrench and bar, chocks, OEM jack, first aid kit, unopened, and other odds and ends, all for about a hundred bucks, then yesterday stopped b VPW in IA for other items I need to get started on the cosmetics of my truck, and a few wiring sorts of issues. Drove the truck a hundred miles from purchase to the small NE town, at about 35 mph on the back roads, I only need to tighten up the steering a bit. The selling owner lubed and checked all the fluids, and greased all the zerks and such for me. Truck runs a water temp of about 180 on the road, a bit under 200 when driving very slowly in town. Has new wiring and radiator. A 24V command truck, so cranks and starts just fine. We put the winch back on. It is going to be picked up tomorrow, and should be here some time early next week.

The folks at VPW were very helpful, and what a place to wander around. Ever sort of part, and the outside storage yards have so many parts and trucks, it looks like an Afganistan russian wrecking yard!

But I do have five double "fuzz" window seals, i presume for truck with sliding windows, which mine doesn't have. They are 23 inches long, about an inch or so wide, two tracks. I would be glad to put them in some sort of mailer and send them to you, for your use and sharing as you wish. No charge for a friend on this forum. If you want to PM me with your address I will get them off soon. Now, back to the garage to see what is in all these bags and boxes.
