Made in USA coils for sale?

The coil on my truck went out after 7 years of my owning it, and who knows how long it was in the truck before I bought it. I have a couple of the Chrome Chinese knockoffs coming from VPW, but I'd prefer a good "Made in USA" coil. I'd buy used or NOS. Does anyone have one, or more, that they'd be willing to part with. I'd like to see about 6 ohms resistance on the primary, and 14k ohms on the secondary. I know they are getting hard to find

John , VPW has original NOS ones. I just got one in yesterday hoping to solve a slight miss when warm.

What are they getting for a NOS coil? Their website says "Sold Out" over the NOS price, but it looks to be $120! Yikes!

I called, I don't care to navigate those sites. they are made in the 60's. $120 is what they sell for. They shipped it right out , I'm installing mine this weekend.

I got my NOS coil from VPW also. Pricey yes, but I dont have to worry about a knock-off failing sooner rather than later.

My nome truck has been running for several years with a chrome coil and pertronix. I don't know when it was installed, some time before I bought it. Opened it up yesterday and realized the carbon button in the cap is completely eroded and there is a 1/8" hole burned through the rotor spring. New cap and rotor coming from ablinn
